
SOMOS+: A Convention with a real purpose
Our teams from Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, and Málaga gathered in the heart of Barcelona for our annual tradition.
An event that went beyond what one might expect from a typical corporate convention, blending creativity with a firm commitment to social responsibility and contributing to building a better society. Under the theme “SOMOS+,” this meeting represented the group’s vision for the future, continuing to develop inspiring projects.
The mission? Reflect on our achievements in 2024 and lay the foundation for a 2025 full of possibilities. But this wasn’t just a simple meeting of figures and objectives: SOMOS+ highlighted the talent of the team, their social impact, and the sustainable future they are building together.
Beyond strategy
Held at the iconic Torre Glòries, this convention served as the platform to present the strategic plan for 2025-2027. With an innovative format reminiscent of an anti-late night show, live music, and special guests, the event stood out for its fresh and dynamic approach. Creativity, innovation, and sustainability were the central pillars of the outlined objectives, reinforcing the energy and vision that define SOMOS Experiences.
This event also served as the perfect opportunity to inspire our team to continue playing an active role in the professionalisation and growth of the experiential marketing industry, which already generates a turnover of over 13 million euros—representing 1% of Spain’s GDP—and provides 83,000 jobs, both direct and indirect.
In this sense, the group has become a key player in this sector, thanks to the numerous projects developed for the country's leading brands, who once again trusted SOMOS Experiences. “If I had to sum up 2024, I’d say it’s been a great year for the company, as we’ve continued our journey and reached places we’ve never been before,” reflected César González, CEO of SOMOS Experiences, referring to the group’s evolution, driven by the diversification and consolidation of new services that allow us to deliver integrated projects.
For SOMOS Experiences, achieving these objectives is not just about economic data but is closely tied to the company’s purpose of contributing to a better society.
People at the heart of strategies
Throughout this day, the company’s vision and strategy were not only present in the speeches of the management team but also in partnership with the Fundación Aspasim—a foundation dedicated to supporting people with severe intellectual disabilities to improve their quality of life, aligned with the company’s values—through a very special activity. As part of this initiative, the morning was dedicated to refurbishing the facilities of the foundation, located on the outskirts of Barcelona, by restoring the premises, building new furniture for the rooms and common areas, and refurbishing gardens and green spaces, helping create a more welcoming and functional environment for the people living at the centre. This wasn’t just a team-building activity; it became a unique and transformative experience, in which all participants felt proud and grateful to be part of this collaboration. A gesture that reaffirms that real change starts from within.
SOMOS B Corp
The meeting was also the perfect opportunity to celebrate a key milestone: our certification as a B Corp company. This recognition marks a major achievement due to the ephemeral nature of the sector, aligning us with a global community of over 8,000 companies committed to generating positive impact.
To achieve this certification, we underwent a rigorous evaluation process in five key areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. This achievement highlights our commitment to a sustainable and ethical business model, consolidating our position as a leader in the sector.
